To the Discerning Members who have chosen to be a part of the Best Club in The World,

Spring is supposed to have sprung and along with that the Gorgeous Flower Display on the West Coast. 

Amongst this Fabulous display of what the Western Cape has to offer is the Bloom of the Season – Newly formed Skal Cape West Coast Club. 

I am so proud to announce that The Cape West Coast Club has reached the target number of members and is in the final stages of the formalities to be a registered Skal International Club as part of the South African stable. 

An achievement of epic proportions! My heartfelt Congratulations to Shirley Brown, Vernon Kirsten and Hiliary van Wyk as the founding members. A huge Thank you to every single person that was involved, no matter how small the contribution – it all mattered. From everyone who took the time out of their schedules and at their own cost to be a part of the initial Brain Storming session, those that attended and assisted with the membership drive and first luncheon events, the behind the scenes involvement with collating information from Skal International, invoicing, printing membership forms, creating and getting bespoke invites to potential members, keeping track of finances and the numerous Zoom and Whatsapp calls and meetings. You all know you played a part that was integral in the end for a successful result. If you weren’t there, there was a gap. 

Thank you to our ISC Fiona and National President Kobus for the unending support and leadership in this initiative. 

The SISA Bi Annual AGA is scheduled to co-inside with the Gala Dinner and inauguration of the office bearers for the Cape West Coast Club on 17^th September in Langebaan. 

As a current office bearer of The Coolest Club, part of a really impressive International Association, I would you urge you to consider an overnight experience on the West Coast to be in attendance and a part of this Club’s Inaugural Gala Dinner.

Bear in mind, that just being a member of the Best Club in The World – you have unknowingly contributed to the formation of another Club in South Africa. Why not be there to share in the accolades and the Celebration!

Join us for an evening of true Skal spirit and love of life and the industry we thrive in.

The formal invitation will be sent to all our members, please check your diaries and if possible join us for an evening of celebration with our entire SISA exco as well as the Past International Skal President.

Christmas is a time of getting together with family and friends, so we have opted along with our Sister Club Cape Winelands to have a Combined Christmas lunch – The More The Merrier very applicable in this case. I would recommend booking as soon as you can.
