Skål International Sustainable Tourism Awards:
Skål Cape Town would like to put forward nominees for the Skål International
Sustainable Awards.
The Skål International Sustainable Tourism Awards are geared towards enhancing the
visibility and grant recognition to entities from the Travel and Tourism industry. Skål
International Sustainable Tourism Awards are open annually to all public and private
sector companies, educational institutions, NGOs, and government agencies related
to tourism worldwide.

Do remember, that if you are travelling for business or pleasure, to make contact with
fellow Skålleagues. It is always great to connect with them and visit their establishments
or use their services.
Don’t forget our Skålleagues have beautiful venues and great services that you can use
for business meetings. Our members make it so convenient to host meetings at their
venues, why would you not use them? I recently had business meetings at Simon’s

Spreading the Skål Love:
It was really awesome to see all those positive social media posts. Seeing our members
out and about with local & overseas guests touring our beautiful Western Cape. Please
keep tagging Skål Cape Town in your social media post and let’s keep spreading the Skål love.
Last month I attended the Skål Cape Winelands cocktail event. We had a great time with
fellow Skålleagues and meeting new friends. If you are able to visit other clubs’ events, I
encourage you to do so.
