World Skål Day is celebrated annually on 28 April, commemorating the founding of Skål International and celebrating our global network of tourism leaders committed to friendship, sustainability, and responsible tourism. Clubs worldwide mark the day through events and charitable initiatives, and the Skål International Cape Town Committee will keep members updated on how we will celebrate locally.
Our May networking evening continues the tradition of bringing together tourism and hospitality professionals to exchange ideas, strengthen existing partnerships, and build new ones. Every meeting is an opportunity to engage with members who share your passion for the industry.
The Young Skål event in June focuses on empowering the next generation of tourism leaders. This gathering is designed to provide mentorship opportunities, foster professional growth, and inspire innovation among emerging professionals in the sector.

Leading up to the World Congress, our Pre-Congress Twinning Event celebrates the strong relationships between Skål International Cape Town and our twinned clubs. This special gathering is open to all members and guests and will feature joint activities, collaboration opportunities, and a shared celebration of our global network.

The prestigious Skål World Congress will be held in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa, bringing together members from across the globe.
