Travelling through Cape Town before the Skål International World Congress in Nelson Mandela Bay?

Skål International Cape Town warmly invites Skålleagues from around the world to join us for a very special International Friendship Braai Day in the Cape winelands.

Hosted on Heritage Day — South Africa’s National Braai Day and a public holiday — this relaxed afternoon will celebrate international friendship, South African hospitality and the spirit of Doing Business Among Friends.

Join fellow Skålleagues for a traditional South African spitbraai, excellent local wines and an afternoon among the vineyards at Dekkersvlei, just approximately 45 minutes from Cape Town.

In a special first, Cape Town has also invited the Presidents and members of our five twinned Skål clubs — Melbourne, Bonn, Hamburg, Perth and Izmir — to join the celebration.

For international members spending a few days in Cape Town before Congress, this is the perfect opportunity to experience a uniquely South African celebration and share a truly magical Skål moment before travelling onwards to Nelson Mandela Bay.
