In recognition of Youth Day, Skål International Cape Town proudly partnered with FEDHASA Cape, SAACI Youth, Young Skål Professionals, and Women in Tourism Western Cape NexGen to host a collaborative Youth Day Celebration dedicated to empowering the next generation of tourism professionals.
Held at the stunning Asara Wine Estate & Hotel in Stellenbosch, the event brought together young professionals, industry leaders, and association representatives from across the tourism, hospitality, and events sectors. More than a networking event, the initiative served as a platform for inspiration, learning, collaboration, and meaningful industry engagement.
Youth Day in South Africa is a time to reflect on the role young people play in shaping the future of our country. Within the tourism industry, young professionals represent innovation, fresh perspectives, and the future leadership that will drive the sector forward.
The Joint Youth Day Celebration was created to provide emerging talent with opportunities to connect with peers, engage with experienced industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into the many career pathways available within tourism and hospitality.
